Lorien Taneytown is hiring a Part Time Laundry Aide!

💰 Compensation

  • $15.00-$15.50 per hour (based on experience)

  • Same Day Pay for all employees

Responsibilities

🧺✨ Laundry Aide – Duties & Responsibilities

  • 🧼 Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility linens according to established procedures
  • 👕 Properly handle resident clothing and personal items, ensuring items are labeled and returned accurately
  • 🧴 Use laundry chemicals and equipment safely and correctly following facility and manufacturer guidelines
  • 🧽 Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment
  • ✅ Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
  • 🚚 Deliver clean linens and clothing to nursing units in a timely manner
  • 🛠️ Report damaged linens, missing items, or equipment issues to the supervisor
  • 🤝 Work cooperatively with nursing and environmental services teams to support resident care
  • 💛 Treat residents’ belongings with care, respect, and confidentiality

 

Qualifications

  • Part Time Hours
  • Schedule: 3:30p-7:30p
  • Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older
