💵 Compensation

  • Starting at $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Activities Assistants are enthusiastic, creative, resourceful, and consistently positive team members who play a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life. In this role, you will follow a structured daily activities calendar designed for residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities.
Activities may include:
  • Games and group activities
  • Live performers and entertainment
  • Themed parties and special events
  • Arts and crafts
  • Discussion groups and social engagement opportunities
  • A wide variety of other recreational and therapeutic activities
This position requires energy, flexibility, and a genuine passion for creating meaningful, engaging experiences for every resident.

 

Qualifications

  • Part Time Hours
  • Schedule:  8:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)

 

Lorien Taneytown is nestled in Carroll County, MD and close to the border of southern PA. We are a Nursing Home and Assisted Living community that offers skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, in and outpatient therapy. We are home to our very own restaurant, Flicks Pub which is a favorite to our residents and the local community. We pride ourselves in providing a family-focused atmosphere for both our employees and our residents.
