Housekeeper Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper at Lorien Mount Airy, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and team members by:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping resident rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Dusting, polishing, and sanitizing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Refilling housekeeping, restroom, and resident care supplies as needed.
- Collecting and disposing of trash in accordance with facility procedures.
- Assisting with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Cleaning and sanitizing resident bathrooms and shared spaces.
- Following infection prevention, sanitation, and environmental services protocols.
- Adhering to all safety, health, and workplace cleanliness standards.
- Maintaining housekeeping equipment and reporting maintenance concerns.
- Providing courteous and professional service to residents, families, and staff.
- Supporting a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment that promotes resident well-being.
