Competitive Pay

Responsibilities

As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Lorien Mount Airy, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and licensed nursing staff, you will safely administer medications while providing compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.
The ideal candidate is caring, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service while helping residents achieve their highest level of wellness.
 
In this role, you will:
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition, reporting concerns to nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, personal care, and other supportive needs as appropriate.
  • Promote resident safety, comfort, and independence while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Follow infection prevention, medication management, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to support high-quality resident care.
  • Provide compassionate support and meaningful interactions that enhance residents' daily experiences.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all resident interactions.
 

 

Qualifications

  • Part-Time
  • Schedule: 3p-11p
  • Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.
